New Gone With the Wind Sequel: Ruth’s Journey

Hey Gone With the Wind fans!

Its time to get excited! According to the New York Times, the estate of Margaret Mitchell has authorized a new sequel to southern classic, to be titled Ruth's Journey.

The new book is set to be penned by Donald McCaig, author of the award-winning Civil War drama Jacob’s Ladder.

The book is set to follow the story of Mammy,
 who until now has been nameless. McCaig reintroduces her to readers as Ruth and lets us in on how she winds up at Tara.
