Book Club News

The Central Library Book Club held its first meeting this past Wedneday. If you couldn't make it but still want to join in there are still a few seats available. The next meeting will be Wednesday October 20th at 6PM in the Thielen Room (small conference room) at the Central Library.
The book selections for the next two months are:
  • October: The Man Who Loved Books Too Much by Allison Hoover Bartlett
  • November: The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe
  • December will be selected during the October meeting
We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Calligraphy Class

Ever wanted to learn calligraphy? Now's your chance! Adults in the area are invited to join us on Tuesday September 7th from 10AM- 12PM as we learn calligraphy techniques that are useful for decoration, invitations, gifts, and special correspondence.

Class will be held in the DeBakey Meeing Room on the second floor of the Central Library. Space is limited so be sure to register by clicking here or by calling us at 721-7118!
